Salary: $8.75 to $9.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Other Benefits

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba (20 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate


Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year


Languages: Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Read French, Write English, Write French


Work Setting: Hospital, Home care and visiting care agency


Specific Skills: Lift, turn or massage patients, Shave patients prior to operations, Supervise patients' exercise routines, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, Answer call signals, Collect specimens


Additional Skills: Supply and empty bed pans, Serve meal trays and feed patients, Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens, Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, Maintain inventory of supplies


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning
