Location: Winnipeg and Area, Manitoba (10 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, CPR certification


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency, Nursing or convalescent home


Area of Specialization: General duty


Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, Provide health education, Provide nursing care, Manage home care cases


Additional Skills: General counselling


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning


Other Information:Must have a current criminal record check and valid drivers license. Experience in the community an asset.
