Title: Bonded Health and Mobility Services Health care aide  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening

Salary: To be negotiated

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Winnipeg and Area, Manitoba (2 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Some high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate


Experience: Will train


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency


Specific Skills: Lift, turn or massage patients, Supervise patients' exercise routines, Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher


Additional Skills: Maintain inventory of supplies


Security and Safety: Bondable, Confidential security clearance, Criminal record check


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking


Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation


Essential Skills: Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning
